Looking for a People at Work alternative?
Build on what you already know about your workplace. Humn IQ® brings psychosocial survey information, risk assessment, controls and evidence together in one risk management system.
People at Work: the published closure dates
WorkSafe Queensland published 1 June 2026 as the final registration date, 1 July 2026 as the final date to launch surveys and 2 October 2026 as the final date for platform access. That final date has now passed. Read the official decommissioning notice.
People at Work provided a publicly funded assessment process with supporting resources. Humn IQ® is an independent commercial offering. It is not the official successor to People at Work and is not endorsed by the regulators that funded it.
Choose a system for the work ahead
When comparing alternatives, ask how information becomes a decision and how that decision is followed through. A survey can inform hazard identification and consultation. The wider process also needs assessment, control implementation and review.
- Understand hazards and exposure across the work, including duration, frequency and severity.
- Bring survey themes together with consultation, incidents and operational information.
- Record controls, responsible owners, actions and review dates.
- Check whether controls work in practice and retain the evidence.
- Give leaders a clear view of unresolved risk and decisions requiring resources.
How Humn IQ® fits
Humn IQ® connects people surveys, a psychosocial risk system, incident reporting and evidence readiness. Humn advisory support can help you interpret findings, consult workers and design practical controls.
Explore the platform, see what a risk register should capture or explore control verification.
Hear from your people. See the hazard picture.
The people survey view brings staff responses together across psychosocial hazard categories. Use the findings to guide consultation and explore what is happening in the work.

Staff consultation and company risk. Side by side.
The comparison view places people survey scores beside the organisation’s assessed residual risk. Differences give leaders a starting point for questions about exposure, assessment and the controls in place. Survey scores and assessed risk ratings represent different inputs and need interpretation in context.

Plan the transition
- Locate reports your organisation previously exported and preserve them with appropriate access controls.
- Review outstanding actions and controls from earlier assessments.
- Agree the scope, confidentiality arrangements and consultation plan for the next assessment.
- Set a new baseline and document changes in questions, scoring and coverage.
Do not assume Humn IQ® can retrieve data from the closed platform or import every historical report. Confirm any migration needs before purchase. Different instruments and scoring methods can make direct score comparisons inappropriate.
Your questions answered
Is Humn IQ® a free replacement?
Humn IQ® is a commercial platform. Contact Humn to discuss scope and pricing.
Can we keep using earlier People at Work reports?
Reports already retained by your organisation can inform your review. Check their currency and context; they do not establish that current risks are controlled.
Will software make us compliant?
Software can support your process. Your organisation still needs to consult, make decisions, implement controls and review their effectiveness.
